Comments / Story behind catch...
We fished all day almost without a bite. The sun was baking hot and fish were not feeding.
Later in the afternoon, when the sun wasnt quite so hot we noticed some splashing and feeding fish about 50 meters away.
Into the evening when the sun was going down and about an hour left we had out first take - my friend latched onto a 40 lb perfect condition SailFish. It gave a fantastic fight.
5 mins after getting that one in I had a take. It was another Sailfish. It took me almosyt 40 mins to get into the boat. It weighed around 45lb and was about as long as me.
The trip was with Alex's Tours - based on Ton Sai, Phi Phi. I will definately go out again with them when next back in Thailand.
